Join us for an informal discussion on data collection in our community engagement efforts. Potential topics of discussion might include which tools we use, how those tools are funded, ensuring buy-in from stakeholders, and other topics participants bring to the table. In this Zoom meeting, CUMU members will connect with others from our network, share what they are doing on their own campuses, and collect useful resources in a shared Google doc that attendees can take with them as a resource.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Rita Patel Eng serves as director of civic engagement and social impact at West Chester University, where she supports the day-to-day operations of the Center for Civic Engagement and Social Impact (CCESI). She also provides strategic leadership and planning, program and policy development, and compliance assessment for CCESI. Rita is a proud Golden Ram and holds a doctoral degree in policy, planning, and administration in higher education and a certificate in Higher Education and Student Affairs Policy (HEPSA) from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She received her MS in technological systems management and BS in biology and secondary science teaching certification at Stony Brook University in New York. Rita has been involved in K-16 education for over 30 years. Her career includes time at Immaculata University, teaching FYE which integrated service learning through the Chester County Food Bank and the College of New Jersey, managing several grant-funded projects. Rita joined WCU in 2016 and has worked in various student support roles on campus working with undergraduate and graduate student populations, faculty, and staff, and campus partners to coordinate student success initiatives.
