Call for Manuscripts: Metropolitan Universities Journal Collective Impact Special Issue

Special Issue Editor: Joseph Allen

Metropolitan Universities is accepting manuscripts for an upcoming issue that will focus on collective impact theory and method. Collective impact is a recently developed concept and approach to solving social problems that rectifies many of the issues associated with isolated or uneven impact. For more information on collective impact, please review this article which summarizes related research as well as the original work by Kania and Kramer (2011) which defines the constructs of the method. Submissions to this special issue should include topics related to the concept and/or application of collective impact.

Submissions should be prepared in accordance with the MUJ Article Submission and Editorial Guidelines.

Manuscripts should be electronically submitted via Open Journal Systems. Detailed instructions about how to use the online platform can be found here. Please indicate in your submission that the manuscript is for the special issue on Collective Impact.

The deadline for submissions is October 1st, 2016.

Papers will be reviewed by the editors as soon as they are received and, if suitable for the special issue, immediately entered into double-blind review processes in accordance with MUJ standard procedures.  The special issue is scheduled to appear in the 2017 volume of MUJ.
