Barbara Holland, PhD, is recognized internationally for her scholarship and expertise on organizational change in higher education with a focus on institutionalization of community engagement. In addition to serving as a strategy advisor to CUMU, Holland serves as a Distinguished Community Engagement Professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), where she provides guidance and oversight on three key areas of community engagement:
- Faculty development of community-based scholarship
- Long-term strategic planning
- Establishing research
Holland sat down with UNO Chancellor Jeff Gold for an interview for the Maverick Minute, a video series featuring Gold interviewing members of the UNO community.
