AASCU's MLI - CUMU Partnership
The Millennium Leadership Institute (MLI) was founded as a prestigious opportunity for member-institutions of AASCU to nominate their most promising senior administrators to participate in their annual leadership development program. MLI’s program is designed to strengthen the preparation and eligibility of persons who are traditionally underrepresented in the roles of president or chancellor in our nation’s colleges and universities. Selected MLI participants will take part in a four-day professional development institute, which is followed by a year-long mentoring component. The participant’s mentor is a current president or chancellor who will provide counsel throughout the participant’s search process and into the early days of the first presidency.
