|Metropolitan Universities Journal|
Metropolitan Universities journal (MUJ) is CUMU's quarterly online journal for scholarship on cutting-edge topics impacting urban and metropolitan colleges and universities. It is a peer-reviewed, open access publication. Its readership is primarily senior leaders and administrators who shape higher education in order to address issues facing modern universities and the communities they serve. Authors include top scholars and administrators who present compelling research and incisive reports about applications of theory and best practices from diverse institutional perspectives.
Metropolitan Universities journal was founded in 1990 by CUMU. Each issue is organized thematically. Guest editors are typically selected from CUMU member institutions and represent a variety of academic backgrounds and fields of expertise. Authors are invited to submit manuscripts for juried consideration; unsolicited manuscripts are not generally considered.
The world of higher education is changing rapidly; Metropolitan Universities journal informs readers of the latest ideas and trends shaping the future of higher education.
