Research and Public Policy
Scholars of CUMU Member Institutions are the foundation for establishing policy as they address the needs of a metropolitan institution and our impact in the communities to which we serve.
By partnering with the New England Resource Center for Higher Education (NERCHE) to manage the Ernest A. Lynton Award the Coalition has fostered a forum for selected faculty members to showcase their vital research.
In addition to working with NERCHE, the Coalition funds research to support public policy papers, referred to as white papers. White papers have served as catalysts for public policy initiatives by CUMU and our member institutions.
