CUMU was founded with the purpose of bringing together Presidents and University Leaders to share, discuss, and debate important issues facing our unique institutions. The first official meeting of the Coalition was held during our first conference in 1990 at Wright State University. We have grown from 10 presidential attendees at our first conference to over 300 attendees, 100 presenters, and key supporting sponsors at our most recent annual conference!
